I like the hook/line grapple feature on both blades should come in handy for snag retrieval and save some money on lost lures. The oval cross-section is called indexing. It helps you quickly position your grip at the appropriate spot along the shaft.

The right side of the shaft changes from a rounded shape to a slightly oval shape that tells you where to place your hand

I bought this elsewhere but im writing a review because i saw people reviewing this kayak saying it was defective because one tube was squished these people did not read about the paddle they paid for if the had they would know that this was done on purpose smh

Drips rings didnt do much but kept water out to some degree on my sot model
