Pros
It's made of sturdy stainless steel and has a good heft to it. This seems like good quality stainless steel. This is the bestest kitchen gadget i have. Would definitely recommend this kitchen gadget.
It's easy to clean if just a tad bit cumbersome. Gives a uniform consistency not possible with hand mashers.
Cons
Incredibly infuriating. Poorly made. Interchangeable disks seem to be good idea that does not work. I plan to return mine and buy one that is a one peice, instead of the removable peices.

I made mashed potatoes with the finest disc.
They only sit in the bottom and therefore come back up with the batter when you open to reload.
It worked well, but with the caveat that the disc sticks to the plunger with each use.

Just pay attention after you press the potato ricer most likely the attachment plates will stick together with the top plate i just used a spoon to pry it out

They came out well but the disc has an unfortunate tendency to stick to the plunger

It fits loosely into the cylinder so theres nothing to hold it in

Thats not a deal killer but you should be aware that you may have to pry the disc loose from the plunger each time you process food
