The leather is firm but definitely not vinyl-fake like with the new generation of leatherman leather sheaths that left me so disappointed.

Have to repair by a leathet craftman.
Zermatt pouch fits only classic-sized victorinox knives, so if you have one of the 110mm lockblade models, find a different sheath.

In this one i store my fieldmaster and while it stores the knife nicely there is a little extra room for the knife to move around it is not a snug fit

Overall i am very satisfied with the build quality of this unit my only question would be that i would have preferred the belt loop to be a wide as the rest of the sheath and not the 12 width that it is
