Pros & Cons
Pros
Heavy duty, and great quality manufacturing make these an no-brainer purchase and value for the price. It’s definitely an upgrade.
There was no stuttering. The stopping distance is a noticeable difference over stock. I only wish kit came with more brake grease.
Cons
Stick to a oem manufacture. False advertising eats the third.
Passagerside pads were completely worn down to bare metal in only 2 months. Ruined rotor of course. The pads are cheaply made with huge metal pieces in them. Still the same issue the pad only grabs the outside edge.
Highlights
Quality
Best bang for the buck; great product!
Great quality and seem to last a long time.
After following the break in instructions, the product works great.
These parts were an exact match for my 2012 ford f-150 2wd crew cab with the 3.
Price
The price is great for a high quality performance part.
Cost was a lot lower than baer and other high end quality kits.
And price was $100 less than the parts store wanted.
Packaging/appearance
Power stop recommends replacing rears at the same time, but my mechanic's philosophy is, get the full life out of the part.
Competitiveness
Very heavy duty, and great quality manufacturing make these an no-brainer purchase and value for the price.
I used this on a 2014 f150 2wd and they do a great job.
The power stop z36's were a dream compared to the stock brakes.
