Pros

The controller feels super lightweight. It is made of a hard, untextured plastic throughout that can get a little uncomfortable to squeeze during extended sessions. But further handling reveals it is surprisingly rigid and sits comfortably in the hand...  Read More

Price, build, and quality taken together are the reason this seller is approved by nintendo to provide more budget-friendly alternatives to the pro controllers. Tl;dr - it's a good controller, but it's not a perfect one.

Cons

Even if power a did respond and replace defective controllers, it's not a reasonable or environmentally friendly solution. It's better to make a lasting product from the start than to repeatedly ship replacements. Such a shame.

it feels hollow and bulky for no reason. No vibrations, no feedback, and it's wired awkwardly to the dock. It's very light and seems hollow.

The wire input is sunk in too far to fit a longer cord. Tried multiple power sources and even a new cord and nothing turned on the power light. We have a newer switch (hac 001 version) and no matter what we tried, this controller would not interface w...  Read More

When you first unbox this you get this overwhelming feeling that this thing will simply not be good

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The membranes of each button bottom out satisfyingly with a good amount of sound and feel and the material is lightly textured in comparison to the body of the controller

The dpad struggles with diagonals and feels mushy when combining inputs but individual presses are fine

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I havent attempted to bind or otherwise use the back buttons and the box this came in didnt come with any instructions but those can be found online somewhere

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The one complaint i think is most valid is that the controller uses a microb connection on the controllers end rather than usbc

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Implementing the port is really not that much more expensive to make this a completely different price bracket so i can only imagine there is a logistical reason behind the use of microb

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Just like other switch controllers this will need to connect to a switch dock as the switch itself has no full usb type a ports

Also like other 3rd party controllers they lack rumble support
