This charger solves that problem in an easy-to-use package. I love the fact that it has usb that connects to the system instead of a separate outlet plug.
The dock is powered by usb and can be easily placed beside the switch. It plugs right into the usb slot on the switch docking station. It has three pins on the outside that connect to contact points in the cradle where the controller sits.
Cons
Only one port on the dock actually charges anything. This lights up as though it is charging and then changes color to indicate charging is complete…but it does not charge the controllers. Piece of utter junk.
It was frayed bent or misused. It's poor craftsmanship and it would have been cheaper to just rotate controllers.

This has worked great and doesn’t take up a lot of room to be able to charge multiple joycons at once is so helpful.
Just plug it into your switch, place your controllers on it, and voilà—they start charging without any fuss.

They super quickly helped me out and just sent me one in the mail no hesitation!
It came pretty quickly & i was happy with shipping.
Was so excited when it got delivered been working wonderful for the past 3 weeks.
Packaging/appearance
Gives the joy-cons extra charging and light turns green so you know it's ready.
While the charging station remained intact, i expected pristine packaging for something advertised as “brand new.
In summary, the charging station delivers on its promise, but the packaging fell short.
