Pros
Spectra controller is cheap, functional on a budget. It's so adorable and it matches the animal crossing switch pretty well.
The controller feels very sturdy and well-built despite being so lightweight. It would also hold up well for children as it does feel very durable. My only complain is that the controller is weightless.
It has a nice 10ft braided cable, that is keyed to the controller. The micro-usb end also has 2 notches that lock the cable into the controller, so you don't have to worry about it being pulled out.
The lighting functionality is easy to manage with a simple button push on the back. The rgb is a nice little feature, it has 8 basic colors to choose from or a rainbow effect. The led's are super cool and match my corsair keyboard and mouse. The specr... Read More
Other than the 4 cons, including the keyed usb cable, it's pretty much a pro controller with a few things stripped out. I can't really knock powera for not including these things, as it's not their fault. Now for the shipping.

I recovered the instructions that came with the controller and have to say that they are not the most clear.
Price
The price is good on this controller, especially for how good it feels and how nice the buttons are.

Competitiveness
Bought this switch controller because i had used powera products in the past and didn't want to shell out $80 for a pro switch controller.
The wire is pretty convenient; it is about 10ft long in total, with a 1ft dongle wire and then a 9ft wire to attach to the dongle.
I am returning this controller (powera enhanced wired spectra controller) for a powera enhanced wireless controller, as i don't need the 3.
5mm headphone jack on this powera controller.

The cord is so long that it tends to mostly pile up on the floor when i’m using it leading to some stress on the plug and most likely a frayed cord my friend also has a similar controller that i think may be this type and his is significantly frayed and has some stick drift

You cant customize the color of the leds you can only cycle through the preset colors

The leds in the controller will turn off automatically when the switch is removed from the dock put in sleep mode or turned off but the white indicator will remain on

The controller has a feature where you can program what two buttons on the back do i found this feature limiting as it only allows you to set the programmable buttons to perform the same action as only one of the existing buttons already on the controller
