Batteries last a long time in this and it has good connection with the switch.
That means it needs aa batteries, and because it doesn't charge it has no cord so there is no option for using it as a wired controller.
3 months later, the l button does not work, making this controller useless when playing animal crossing.
Price
For the price, it is a great value, especially if you care about aesthetics.
Just factor in the cost of batteries, in case that is something you have an issue with.

This controller is just fine but you should know that unlike many other wireless controllers it is not rechargeable
