Pros
It takes 2 aa batteries. It's good for mario oddessey and zelda but the pro controller is much better for smash bros.
It fits comfortably in your hand like a newborn chick, silky smooth! Great product, arrived quickly works perfectly. Gyroscopic motion sensor.
The * are exactly how you'll remember it and the weight and feel is exactly how i remember the gcn controller being. But it recognises it as a pro controller oddly? Which is now the r button, its coloured yellow to match. Only downside is no rumble.
Cons
L and r * are too large and chunky, so are not nice to use. The d-pad is larger (the small size of the original being a common complaint), however is it pretty poor and often registers the wrong direction in game. The analogue sticks are both too heav... Read More

Build quality is good, nearly identical to the original but with added features such as a gyroscopic motion sensor.
The controller i bought was the pikachu one and it goes brilliantly with the pokémon lets go console.

You can mod this to have the bottom bottom out sooner but it was the biggest flaw with the controller as it takes a relatively long time to press the shoulder buttons

But where the wavebird was bulky this is far from it due to the technology to allow wireless controllers to work has now been made smaller and cheaper
