These scales require the app for everything other than weighing yourself you can use them without but you will only see your weight the other information will not be shown

It took a little time to figure out as i couldnt find it detailed in the instructions but to add another user up to ten altogether you simply click the profile picture next to your name profile picture can also be changed to a photo of yourself if you wish and then in the bottom left there is a plus sign click on this and add the next users information like i did for my partner it then if i remember correctly starts trying to locate register the scales again for which you must stand on them to allow the registration to complete

There are many different measurements that are recorded and saved directly to the app and it also gives you advice on the readings gained so it can help you correct any which you are not happy with
