It is attractive does add some thickness to the original outlet but does not look bad see pictures

There is a grounding screw to mount it firmly to the outlet however i was unable to use it as the outlet is the type which goes in bathrooms and kitchens where the outlet could get wet or overloaded and the buttons pop out

But the surge protector fits very firmly into the old outlet having the usual three prongs on top and a smaller plastic prong for the bottom outlet

Having two additional usb charging ports is always wonderful as now there is another charging station in our device laden household

If i plugged my iphone in through one of the ports it would make my phone very hot and it would make the interface extremely wonky
