It under-torques by about 20%. This means if you tighten a fastener to what the wrench reads at 36-37, it's really only around 31. Can't unlock the handle to change torque.

Like any good torque wrench, it only “tightens” though i have tried to pick it up and loosen lugs and it just spins!
