For the cost of this tool, it was worth every penny/dollar, and it worked to fix it in two passes.
I can't find these anywhere in stores good deal worked perfectly
I would need to have the head taken off, at shop at a cost of at least 1000 $ plus to get it repaired and a what an inconvenience.
I did some hims and haws and said if this does not work it's going to cost me huge!

I made multi passes expanding the threads partially each time before backing out until it was fully expanded

I didnt even fully remove the tap when the threads were halfway showing on the way out i just threaded it back in expanded the tap some more and backed it out again

Beforehand i sprayed the tap with lithium grease from a spray can and i believe that caught most of the debris
