It's too clean around the lug stud to remove corrosion for proper wheel torque. Get the upgraded version - this version uses velcro to hold the abrasive disc on the tool. The velcro loses its grip and then burns up from the friction.

You could i guess use this to resurface more meaning also the mounting portion of the wheel and the pad mating portion of the rotor but there are better options more suited for those applications
