Good ac powered usb-a hub, i need extra ports for my gaming laptop, this took care of all my needs.
Easy to set up and power each usb on and off works great on usb dvr recorders as long as you us the power adaptor
Each port can be switched on and off, and the status of each is indicated with individual leds adjacent to the power buttons.
I got tired of unplugging this to connect that now, everything has it's own plug.

My desktop is directly in the side of my desk and the keyboard usb receiver would always drop the signal or there would be an annoying delay

The ac adapter cord needs to be a little longer and remember to press the power button when you plug a new device in each socket has a power switch

It is not heavy so if you are going to mount it somewhere like to the side of your pc tower a little patch of velcro will do the trick
