I have a bluetooth connect to android phone windows program that often gets touchy about the usb dongle. Great to have the ports right in front of me at all times. We use this on a sony vaio laptop which only has 2 - usb ports.
Bought it from atolla fulfilled by amazon for 23. Love the up to 2. A 5. And this seller is probably the fastest i've dealt with.
The optional power supply is great to charge your devices without needing to be plugged into a pc. The data ports (which also charge, but at lesser amperage) are usb 3. The extra charging slot is very handy.
Cons
One of the ports constantly makes my computer give the sound of a device connecting/disconnecting, even when nothing is plugged into the port. Not suitable for connecting external drives to a laptop because of the difficulty reconnecting. Unable to co... Read More

Up until i bought this id always have to be aware of my tablets battery level as the tablet didnt get enough power from the usb port to stay charged while the screen was on

Two complaints 1 adapter cord is very short and 2 usbtopc cable is hardwired in so if you need a longer cable it means using an extension rather than replacing with your choice of cable
