Pros & Cons
Pros
These fasteners are just really good at attaching things to drywall! They are definitely better than most other screws in drywall. These are awesome for mounting things on dry wall.
Cons
Inaccurate product image. Not silver/chrome as shown. Comes in an oily black finish. Item not as pictured. Picture is not accurate as it shows a polished screw.
Highlights
Quality
No huge holes, very strong hold and has never failed
Strong hold and much easier to use than the old plastic anchors.
Instead, employed plumber's (metal, pre-drilled holes) tape to strap 2x4s to brick.
Drill hole into mortar between bricks, not into brick itself.
Price
Expensive for what they are, but its a one and done fastener
And we did not want to buy an expensive drill for light to moderate usage – there comes the additional expense of drill bits and so on.
Shipping
Lowes & home depot, no luck-- amazon came through, again.
