Pros & Cons
Pros
This adapter works great for connecting smaller tools to dust collection. Cut about a 5 inch long section off the pipe on a miter saw and use it as a coupling. For reference the picture shows a male hose attachment seating into the 2.
Works as advertised, just a piece of plastic. Fit together well with little fuss. I know that some of the reviewers complained because it didn't fit, which is kind of true.
Cons
It fits neither my 4 machines nor my shop-vac. The 4 end is exactly 4 inches. This should not be sold as a 4 in reducer! Does not fit a 4”outlet. Does not convert 4 inch connection to 2 1/2 inch.
