Pros
The guide rails when connected make the tracksaw slide over just fine. Pretty sturdy for the bucks.
Big lever tightens, small lever releases. Includes pocket that carries festool * and a screwdriver to join up tracks. Better than a screw clamp and well priced.
Cons
The track was badly warped. The squeeze grip does nothing unless i squeeze it a bunch of times. The bar that slides into the track has sharp corners that scratched the inside of my makita track.
Highlights
Quality
No fit or quality issues at all.
Works perfectly with the powertec guide rails as well as mikita guide rails.
The clamps work well, but they don’t feel like a premium product.
However, there is a "lip" on the powertec track that keeps it from working with the festool carvex jig saw attachment.
Price
The clamps did what they are supposed to do and the price was a good value
The cost is half of comparable guides, but it functions just as well.
Packaging/appearance
That said, you could probably make them work with few minutes filing, but it's unfortunate they don't fit the dewalt rails out of the box.
The handles on the powertec clamps are much easier to grasp, and when needed, put a bit of torque to them.
Competitiveness
Works great for my festool tracks, and much less expensive than a festool branded bag.
What they fit: i have a makita sp6000j track saw and rails but i also have a festool lr32 rail that i tested these clamps in.
Time will tell but i doubt i'll ever buy another festool track.
I believe this extrusion does not work with festool router adapters for the guide rail, but i haven’t tried it myself.

My guide rails had lost their grip due to extent of use

They are not super strong like a gluing clamp but they only need to create a few pounds of pressure to hold the rails in place

These appear to be decent clamps they just dont fit my bosch tracks

I ordered two guide rails at the same time and one came with a bad bend

With them being in cold storage winter i was worried also if the adhesive would get brittle and cause the splinter strip to peel over time like my festool rails

Please keep in mind that these rails fit virtually any tracksaw but match the makita profile the closest which allows for the anti tip feature
