As advertised, these bench dogs fit snug and hold items securely.
The foam tops are also really nice for setting panels and cabinet doors onto for painting, since they're soft and fairly grippy.

Ive tried using them as risers for cutting as well and i have found that a bench clamp is good to have to keep pieces from moving
