Pros & Cons
Pros
I only wish that it was a little longer. Had zero issues. You will not be disappointed.
The clamping knobs do a better job than the wing nuts at holding the locking bracket in place. This * is ideal for most of my projects where i need to cut tapers. Could not have done it without this *.
Cons
There isn't any base molding to hide any gaps. Move along, do not buy this. Pull this tool off the shelf and out of the box.
Highlights
Quality
Nice and easy to use, and it looks like it will last a long time.
Works great had twelve angles to cut all came out the same great addition to my shop
My setting locked in with zero movement during use.
Slightly uneven countertop needs a small change to molding.
Price
In any case, without this eminently affordable jig, i would have been at a loss as to how i was going to get a taper cut.
Not a super tough tool but works very well for the money!
Shipping
Right after i got the notice of shipment for the powertech i found my old heavy duty jig from 1975.
Product arrived as scheduled asembly was easy.

For full disclosure 3 days ago was my first time using a table saw and after making some cross cuts needed to get a taper cut

The only issue i faced was that my workpiece was longer and the jig supported against the rip fence was only supported only half way had to very carefully support the piece on a jerry rigged extension and push it through carefully

I am wondering if the support that goes against the rip fence could be extended on the other side of the hinge maybe 6 to 12 inches

That would not interfere with the operation of the jig i think

Kind of cheap in build quality and i wouldnt put a ton of faith on the angle gauge but it did work

Would be nice if it would have an adjustment screw
