Pros & Cons
Pros
Central machinery 9 saw is a bench band saw with a tubular steel frame. It takes a few minutes to vacuum the tires out each day. It is a great saw for the pricepoint.
The blade guides are steel pins, which are not my first choice, but if you take your time and don't push too hard they shouldn't be a problem. Changing the blade is very easy.
Clip on door fasteners are very smooth and seem well balanced. Guards are heavy duty plastic, well engineered, snap latches for easy access. Birdhouse parts. Each adjusted fine and cut well.
Cons
May be this saw is not meant for any serious woodworking. With no blade installed, the unit vibrates significantly. Coupled with the lower wheel's problems, this causes the blade to oscillate over 1/8 during operation.
Do yourself a favor. Don't buy this tool.
