Pros & Cons
Cons
Even after liberally applying thread locker, the screws still become loose. The tapped holes need a closer tolerance they are way to sloppy.
Highlights
Quality
The components provided were very good quality overall.
I noticed this early on and made necessary adjustments.
Once i had them temporarily glued to the sled (3/4 birch plywood), i predrilled holes and counter sunk for the screw head.
The issue i ran into was that the screw pressed the plastic outwards ever so slightly that it created grab spots in the tracks.

The manual leaves out one important step

Nowhere in the instructions does it indicate that you should also cut a kerf through the front fence

This step is logical but not indicated in the instructions

The pictures showing how to install the back fence show the kerf cut for that step stopping short of the end of the base which is logical

But when you arrive at figure 16 34the sled is ready to use34 a kerf through the front fence magically appears with no prior instructions to cut it

Admittedly this can be easily done before using the saw sled for the first time

However showing that step in the instructions is recommended

One other tip that could be included in the manual in the 34crosscut sled base34 section to avoid a major mistake
