Pros & Cons
Pros
Powkey solar generator is a reliable and versatile power solution. The solar panel is foldable, saving space when not in use. The output of the solar panel has two usb ports, one usb-c and oneusb-a port along with a dc 5521 output port for connecting ... Read More
Wh puts out plenty of power to keep a large number of drone batteries- charged for a couple of days. We have this as a backup power source for our very tiny camper, to help take a tiny bit of the load off its electrical system, and it's doing great! I... Read More
The flat boxy shape works well under or on top of a desk or table. The built-in smart chip intelligently identifies my devices and maximizes their charging speed while protecting them from overloading. The battery is enough for most devices we need po... Read More
It is robust and lightweight. Only gripe is that it doesn't have a handle. If you like the portable power but don't have the extra hands to lug around a 50lb pack of batteries, then this is a great option.
The powkey portable power station offers four recharging modes, providing flexibility and convenience. The usb c charging port supports pd65w fast charging, allowing me to fully charge my phones within just 30 minutes. They provide a 12v car adapter p... Read More
Cons
To be honest with you, i can not remember if it has a type c outlet. Planned to use it to power my chicken coop but ended up being a waste of $200. It shuts on and off.
Highlights
Quality
The solar panel is well made and even though it is winter i was able to test it and it does charge the powkey portable power station.
Seems to work well, be well built and i would recommend
- it only draws 30w to charge, and that makes it take quite a long time to charge.
The battery lasts long with one item, but i have not tried with multiple items, although you can charge 5 items at once!
Price
99 after coupon which i think is a pretty great deal for a 200w power station.
This is an awesome little setup for those who cannot afford a large generator or even for situations where gas is in limited supply.
This is a very good price for storage.
I think it's a good value for the price.
Shipping
So i am keeping this unit and leaving it plugged in-line as a ups with my cpap.
Packaging/appearance
It comes with a nice case, it's smaller than i expected which is a plus.
The solar panels are smaller than i realized, but this also makes them easy to pack and take with you to keep the unit power up.
Competitiveness
This means that it works with just about any other panel or power bank, making it a very usable kit.
The power pack itself it pretty nice and fairly big in comparison to some i've found and plenty of power options and outputs.
As a power bank, it is not as robust as the other named brands, but it is still good enough.
That's better than my other solar panel which took it appx 8 hrs to do the same on a similar day.
