It's a chunky bar of soap, and it lathers well. The buttery soap leaves my skin feeling smooth after it has become crackly from the dry heat of the desert.

These soaps smell so good. They just smell and feel very luxurious. Ironically, wasn't bothered by any mosquitos later in the day. Better hand wash you get from scrubbing with a solid bar of soap.

It lathers beautifully in a washcloth or in your hands. There are tiny rough (not too rough) particles which exfoliate lightly. Lathers well and feels moisturizing.

Every bar of french milled i have used lasts forever bc of the process. Long lasting but not as much as the standard milled soap i knew growing up.

Cons

The soap has almost no scent. Also, it cleans but does not moisturize the skin. The soap smells nice but was beat to death during shipment.

They love it, from the smell, the moisturizing qualities, and the better hand wash you get from scrubbing with a solid bar of soap.

It does lather up very nicely, and leaves you feeling smooth, not slippery or oily afterward.

The bar is a substantial size, and does not dissolve away like some artisan made soaps i have.

The bar itself is pretty big so it does last awhile and it also didn't get too soft and dissolve in between bathing.

Good price and my boyfriend loves it.

The only problem is that i wish it were more affordable.

Competitiveness

While i'm sure it's still more pricey than other soap, i don't believe the difference to be that drastic since the bar lasts much longer.
