Quality
Besides the size and weight of this thing, i am impressed with the build of this sub.
I wasn't too thrilled with the way this sounds musically but not too many home theater subs can reproduce music well.
The cabinet build quality is good, with satin black walls and gloss black top/bottom.
I was pretty impressed with the psw505.
Price
However, i will say for the price i paid ($400.
But when i saw this sub and the price i was curious to hear how it sound.
Shipping
The wire between the amp and the woofer comes off during shipping.
Packaging/appearance
Honestly, i thought this sub didn't have a chance because i already had my hear set on the pl-200.
Was torn between the pa150 and the rw12d from klipsch.
Competitiveness
The pa-150 played back at a 20hz response relatively well!

But yes this sub does struggle with tight punchy bass for music listening not enough tho to make me think i should have chose something else

A friend of mine has one of these and after watching a few movies with it i had to get one

Even though the specs say it bottoms out at 25 hz i got it down to 17hz and managed to shake a picture frame off of a shelf

One caveat when i received the item it powered up detected a signal but made no sound

I sent back the pl 200 because there was a ratting noise on the cone and i didnt even have the sub on high volume

I knew i had it low though mind you in a smaller room that setting would probably destroy lol so i put it to 6 out of 10 like the manual states to start off with
