Pros
This bookshelf is perfect. Matches his livingroom very well. It's walnut color matches my other walnut furniture flawlessly.
Cons
This bookcase is embarrassingly awful. It's not a solid board & you nail it in with thin nails with pin sized heads. That’s pretty irritating.

I’m extremely happy with build quality of this book shelf.
Easy to build and relatively few steps.
The biggest problem is that the hardware is low quality and it will strip if you aren't careful.
Three weeks into ownership and not seeing any major red flags.

I also wanted something with drawers for extra storage, they needed to be reasonably priced and it had to have a little pizazz.

I didnt use the doors on the bottom because i want to replace them with something see through or i might keep it open all together

I had an issue with the leg of the base and i was able to order replacement part and hardware no problem

Its very easy to assemble alone it took a little over an hour but if it werent for a stripped screw i would have made the instruction booklets estimate of 45 minutes although that estimate is with two people working on it

The metal is so soft that i ruined one of the leg fasteners with one slip

Now that leg is loose because the screw is impossible to get in any further luckily it was close enough that i shimmed it with some cardboard and everything works fine with no wobble
