While i really like the very reassuring airtight seal it has some drawbacks its too tall for any of my normal height kitchen shelves forcing me to keep it on the counter it is almost too narrow a cylinder to allow my hand inside all the way to the bottom its clear so it fails to protect the coffee beans from light it is made of heavy glass which is a potential breaking hazard

I called amazon and explained i didnt want to be returning broken glass which my amazon customer service rep understood
