The food sits up about one inch from the bottom of the roasting pan, and keeps out of the juices.

The leaves interlock and stayed together throughout cooking so i suspect two would link together easily if you were cooking something really big

I store it curled up inside an infrequently used pot so it doesnt take up storage space

After cooling i gave them a little rinse in the sink and most of the debris rinsed off and i then put them in the top rack of the dishwasher where both came out squeaky clean
