Pros & Cons
Pros
This is a very sturdy slicer that performs well every time it’s used. It cuts great but because there are so many blades to cut there is a lot of resistance. Get it on amazon.
The base pops the slices and core right out, no more pulling on the core to get it out. Attached bottom protects from sharp blades while pushing last of apple through slicer. No more removing them one-by-one by hand.
This apple corer cores 16 slices and pushes it all the way through. Because it makes 16 slices, it takes more muscle to get the slicer through. The slices are thinner than most apple slicers.
Cons
The plastic slicer is hard to push through an apple if your biceps are average. The apple gets stuck to the blade and it's hard to get it out. It takes quite a lot of strength to slice 16 slices.
Highlights
Quality
Really nice thin slices, cuts easily, fold and finish, pushes all slices and core out, quickly and easily.
This is sturdy and slices apples with ease.
I thought “what a poor design… the apples will never cut straight.
The fold over bottom pops the slices and core out of the blades.
Price
Reasonably priced and easy to clean, it has exceeded our expectations.
Competitiveness
If progressive should decide to make similar peach slicers and strawberry slicers, sigh us up.
