But i notice when i put grapes it in and add a little of water at the bottom there appears to be a film like substance there within a day or 2

The seal is so good i actually have to push hard to try to open

If you have difficulty opening jars i would not recommend because you have to pull open the lid from the top and push the base down in the opposite direction to get it to open

The top doesn’t snap on securely but it doesn’t seem to make a difference in the freshness
