Pros & Cons
Pros
This popcorn maker is wonderful! Highly recommend. My hope is that it last forever, but if not, it was not that expensive. It feels fairly substantial.
It pops all but 1 or 2 kernels, pops super fast and is a breeze to clean and store. The ratio or unpopped kernels is fantastic and if you are mindful and listen to the pops. I also give it a few shakes toward the end help the heavier unpopping kernels... Read More
It takes about two minutes to pop enough to fill the bowl. It pops quickly and clean-up is a breeze.
Snappy butter flavored oil and salt. I'm more of a black appliance kind of person however, the popcorn still taste amazing.
My only head scratcher is why no power switch, but its not a big deal. The only downside i have is with the venting. I use it to bring the heat up when it's cold out, puts out clean heat like a furnace vent.
Cons
It says 1/4 cup of popcorn & that does fill the spot for it. No on/off switch. I have to plug in/unplug for power, which is unsafe. The lid/bowl needs to be held down so as not to "pop" off when popping the corn.
Highlights
Quality
Easy to use, super quick popper, and easy to clean.
This is the coolest thing love it much better than the other kinds easy to use and pops the corn without problems
The air whips the kernels up and on the ledge, and hardly any of it was exposed enough to the hotter areas.
I let the machine run for a long time, and eventually it all just smelled bad.
Price
Otherwise, all in all it's a great device, and this is so much cheaper than buying microwaveable popcorn.
Shipping
By the time i've melted a little butter in the microwave, the popcorn is ready.
Packaging/appearance
Unboxed, cleaned and started popping, it turned out great!
The serving container is very handy if it's just plain.
Packs down compactly, and doesn't take any more space than the glass microwave popper i had.
Competitiveness
Yeah, i'm still putting chemicals onto my popcorn, but i figured that anything that i am doing is nothing compared to the amoun... Read More
It does make asound similar to a vacuum cleaner but nothing as loud as that.
The little popcorn hulls do come out of the top to some degree, but in comparison, the cleanup is minimal.
