Heats up quickly, cooks evenly and is a breeze to clean up. It has a fry basket that lifts out with the fried items. Basket is a bit smaller than my last one but i am able to make fries for a family of 4 just fine.

The reservoir is removable for easy cleaning. Cleaning all the nooks and crannies inside and out of the plastic shell is easy. It protects you from spatter or getting burned if you touch it.

I like that the lid stays closed. The basket with detachable handle is also a very nice feature. Gave it a 5 although the lid could have been made a little stronger like its predecessor.

The plug is really short so hopefully your outlet isnt too far away. Two other drawbacks:1. Be prepared lol2. Like the size and capacity but is totally unusable.

It only goes to 325 deg f as measured with a candy thermometer when the dial was on the 375 deg f setting. Temperature knob is a joke and a hazard so. Thermostat also shuts on and off if the fryer is bumped.

Food was soggy. Takes forever, breading is mushy and to get them browned they are overcooked.

The presto fryer needs to be recalled, it has the potential for serious injury. I am stuck with this paperweight. About to return a second unit. Definitely returning this product right away.
