Pros

Size of the griddle is perfect for pancakes. Easy to clean and easy to store. Great for pancake making.

Presto 19 griddle is a great product. Used it 3 times with food prep cooking food for a week each time. Heat distribution isnt perfect but it is more than good enough to get the job done.

Cons

Biggest issue with this thing is the tilt and fold system. The legs are very brittle and not at all durable. The tilt levers are very hard to move into tilt position. The gimmicky tilt n fold legs break super easy.

Heat distribution is fair if you let it preheat but it certainly over cools right over the element area.

My biggest issue is the minimalist protection underneath and the poor design of the drip tray. The drip tray is very short. The grease trap is a 1 out of 10.

Something with the plugin electric element seems to be shorting out. Part of each pancake was almost burnt while the other part was barely cooked. The cord is also very short, making it less than ideal unless you are within 18” of an outlet.

It is an incorrect use of the word, the griddle does not fold, it tilts to let grease flow into the reservoir.

Price

Amazing value for such a generous nonstick cooking surface, and temperature control.
