Pros & Cons
Pros
The taste is perfect snd i use it at least once a week! It is heaver built. It makes it less chewy and more fluffy!
Popcorn itself tastes fine, but is a littler chewier than what we had previously been making in a pressure cooker. The presto popcorn result seems a bit drier than the westbend, but still evenly popped, without an abundance of kernels left behind.
Cons
Too much steam/moisture build up while popping, making the popcorn chewy. There is so much condensation in the popper the popcorn is soggy.
Most of the kernels were left in the popper. Even the ones that do pop are soft and soggy. This is the third such popper i have bought. Only about 1/4 of kernels pop and they're only partially popped.

Price
In any event, it works great but it cost about $17 each use.
I would really just like a new top part and am willing to pay for a new one.
Packaging/appearance
It is possible that it was cracked when received, and i just did not see it.
Competitiveness
This is very much worth the extra $10 compared to other brands.

Unfortunately condensation collects inside the lid and the popcorn gets soggy as it moves against the dome…so we’ve been putting our popped corn on a microwave safe plate and microwaving for one minute to crisp it before eating

I leave the top cracked a little to help vent the moisture so you dont get tough corn
