Pros

The original shred cone finally wore out. This fits just fine (it will *not* fit the professional model. This is a replacement piece to one of my all time favorite kitchen gadgets, the “salad shooter’.

Packaged grated cheese has an additive that keeps the preserves the product and keeps it from clumping. Nice grated quality.

A bit expensive compared to replacing the entire unit.

It arrived in a very short amount of time and we were up and running without missing the next taco night (saturdays).

Packaging/appearance

It is bigger than the fine shred you find in packaged cheese like mexican blend but far smaller that the standard grate on a grating board.

In the pics:the whiter (& cracked) cone on the left is the original cone, while the more cream colored cone is the new cone i received.
