The heat is great except as you dial past the calibrations between low, medium, high, the unit makes a loud click several times a minute. It's so loud you could call it a snap.

Love the new extra features; cord rolls up in the back, it tilts, has a reset button, and the base is much sturdier than the old style.

I don't like forced air heating and got this heat dish last winter to warm whatever room i was in while keeping the central heat low.

I leave heater on while home and unplugged win i leave, i am home 85% of the time.

Price

I bought this heater to save my plants and cost of using gas furnace with poor heat (rental property).

My electric bill went up 60$ but my gas bill went down 68$ .

I've tried many different space heaters and this is by far my favorite.

I also find the parabolic heater is better at heating a room then the heaters with a fan.
