Pros
The bags are biodegradable. They use our garbage, compostable paper,ect, to make compose for gardening. You can fill them with leaves and even some pokey sticks and other debris.
They are fantastic. They work great. Will buy again. Will be ordering more. They are excellent.
The bags open easily and hold a lot of yard waste. They're green so the compost truck knows to pick them up. Works perfectly for our pine needles.
Cons
Not sturdy at all. To flimsy and thin. While it can be done it takes some care to do it without ripping the bag.

Packaging/appearance
It feels good to use something compostable.
I use these for garbage bags - they work - and i like the fact that they are biodegradable.
And hey if you've got a rotting medium sized animal carcass in your yard it would probably hold that too (definitely compostable).

Update since the bin is outside the bag tears and shreds if too full or if it rains but i just put the cans into a new bag before taking them to recycling

The bags are great but if kept in the garbage can for over a week the bags will start to disintegrate

I prefer to use bags made from plants that will biodegrade without leaving behind micro plastic to pollute the environment

Bags of this type are not usually sturdy by nature so they cannot be handled like ordinary trash bags
