Unlike the rest of the faucet which is made of heavy stainless the plate is made of very thin stainless steel

After seeing the rest of the faucet i expected the escutcheon to be of similar quality and strength but it is not

Installation was straightforward albeit uncomfortable

Most of the installation can be done by one person but when tightening down the nut to secure the faucet to the counter you’ll want to have someone else hold the faucet in place otherwise it will spin out of position

When tightening the nut underneath to hold the faucet in place we got the nut fairly tight but the faucet was still way too loose
