This leads me to believe the incredibly wet humid conditions weve experienced this season has started creating a film on the battery contacts and the vibration from hitting my palm scrapes enough off to create an electrical connection and it starts working again

I emailed warranty support and not only did they send two replacement battery doors but they even came with installation instructions
