Pros

Core is soft but not too soft. They sharpen very well. The only draw back is if you use a pencil sharpener other than the prismacolor sharpener, you will be frustrated. These are great pencils and have a great lay down for your artwork.

The colors are nice. Purchased these to keep children, ages 6 & 11, occupied while traveling.

Prisma are gorgeous for laying down flat color and blend so beautifully together when layered. They are very opaque yet buildable colors. And they blend beautifully.

Cons

They look so used and chewed up. Returned and received another packet, they are wonderful.

The core falls out of them instantly. The dent on the case makes it hard for my child to open it.

The only thing i do not like about this box is that the box lid detaches completely.
