Pros

White vinyl erasers are a basic staple for a draftsman. They feel better over the crumbly gum type erasers. They work very well for removing marks, and leave no discoloration on the wood.

Cons

For pencils it smudges everything when trying to erase. Once they get dirty, they are impossible to clean and act more like a drawing tool than an eraser. Horribly misleading and deceptive.
