Pros & Cons
Pros
Are they a little pricey? Are they well worth the money? Also yes. Great for the beginners as well. Judging from reaction, they’re very easy to use and perfect for beginners!
Superior blending and saturation. My only complaint is how much effort i needed to saturate the colors. Definitely makes me wish i had more color options in future endeavors.
Cons
One pencil is hollow, to all but 1 inch or less at the very bottom. Tuscan red pencil is split all the way down the pencil. I had to keep sharpening so many times in a matter of minutes. I have another set of coloring pencils that were half the price ... Read More
Box they came in is weak and can be easily dented. The metal container is crushed along the long edge, top and bottom tray. Unusable, please send new container. The case is so bent and damaged it wouldn't even open!
Prisma is expensive anyway. The writing is unclear, smudged and the font style is uneven. The color is strange and the application is splotchy.

Competitiveness
After purchasing prismacolor pencils, i cannot touch another brand.
I thought they would be superior but i find myself looking to try other brands.
I have not found any others that compare.
