Smooth use of colors on canvas and very vibrant
Every time you pull one color out the whole liner comes out and you have to sit there and replace them one by one.
Long thin pieces feel smooth, but are firm which is what i wanted, and nice blending.
Price
The price on this set is a great deal!
Good pigmentation for a lower cost pastel.
I am not spending that much money on pastels, and decided on these instead.
Not cheap, mind you, but worth it.
Packaging/appearance
Former packing was plastic trays which held pastels in place, the set of 24 is good for travel and for plein aire work.
My only complaint is the foam packaging which is why i gave this product four stars.
I was not very pleased that one pastel stick was broken when i opened the package.
Came broken- but it didn't hurt their performance.

Nupastels are really hard pastels that somehow work well with soft pastels which most hard ones wont do

Only mistake i made was buying only the 24 set and had i known what a good deal they were i would have bought a much larger set

Being hard pastel they don’t layer very much but great for sketching or under painting
