Bought two others that were killing my wifi adapter on my yoga 900 but this one works perfectly with my hdmi and usb my husband is the electronics master and i wanted him to type this review so he could be more specific however he has left town on business so here i am trying to type this review alone in order for apple to achieve this feat apple had to remove all of the ports on the laptop except for one port the usb type c

Glad i bought this over the one made by apple which cost more than double and not nearly as nice a build quality it matches near perfect to my naked eye and it does the job i hook it up to my tv no problem i charge my phone and tablet thru the usb port and hook up the usbc connection everything works i was leery of buying anything not made by apple for an apple product but this turned out to be a smart and must have product for that lonely usbc port on my macbook

You can also connect a charging cable to the usbc port to charging your macbook
