Pros
Clean with paper towels and rubbing alcohol. Cleaned up easily with a damp paper towel(once cooled a bit). Save alot of time and money. I use a wall plug adapter that this adapter has a switch.
This is the best item i've bought in a long time. No complaint at all. This one is worth it.
This proctor silex sandwich maker is absolutely perfect. It feels way more durable, and looks great with the metallic finish.
Cons
It only toasts on one side. Cooking surface is not deep enough even for a normal sandwich to be toasted on both sides. There is no on off button.

This thing literally takes like 3 seconds to clean with a damp paper towel.
I have even used this sandwich maker to re-heat pizza slices when the microwave didn't work at a vrbo.

I didn't pay new pricing for used and damaged product.
First of all, i picked this up used (in like new condition) for 25 bucks.

Shipped quickly, and arrived in great shape.
Update: 4/11/2024:new one was sent and it works well.
About 25% quicker than the instructions say.

Wish came in square shape & of course little longer cord but i'm very happy

If you like to have a variety of thickness in your sandwiches or deli style then a different sandwich maker might work better.

Here is how i have been making two grilled sandwiches i butter two slices of bread and place them butter side down on the grill
