Pros
The ds is the perfect console for layton games. I wish they;d release a sequel set in a phoenix wright setting.
The story is interesting and the fact you can use hint coins in the courtroom sequences has been of great help. Combines the best of both genres. Layton and wright, a crossover of epic proportions.
Cons
But the courtroom phoenix wright bits are at best boring and at worst just plain tedious. Long winded to play & not enough to do.
This is perhaps the main reason why i have given this game a low rating. My advise to any 'layton' fans who are interested in buying this game is don't buy it expecting it to be like the other games in the series.
