Pros

There is a latch to keep the pitter closed. Pitting four cherries at a time makes it so much easier. We like to go to the orchard and pick ourselves and cherry pitters are no where to be found.

The tray is removable for easy clean up. Clean up is easy and it isn't cumbersome to store. It isn't hard to clean and it can go in the dishwasher.

This pitter has two sizes as well. Also works on the usual bing-sized cherry. Flip the inner tray around to accommodate small or larger cherries.

Cons

It is a two-hand operation to remove the cherries and place them in a bowl or container, so it is not an efficient tool for pitting many cherries.
