Pros
The blade is very sharp. Cleanup is a breeze since it's plastic. Cleans up fast and simpler and takes up less space than a food processor.
Cons
The main blade isn't well positioned, and it isn't nearly sharp enough. Slicing shoestring size, marginal, at best.
The multi slicer is criminally bad. Caveat emptor. This thing is landfill fodder.

As a longtime cook i highly recommend this product for fast slicing and keeping your fingers out-of-the-way.
A word of caution, the blade is extremely sharp and will do substantial damage to fingertips.
If the mandoline blades weren't sharp, it wouldn't work and consumers would be dissatisfied with the product.

This is a great slicer for the money.
This one is great, especially for the price.
