It is important to start with the mindset that it is a 250 projectorthe projectorthe 180 inch screen and the projector stand for 350 totalit perform good in a lighted room but much better in the darki used it o a 180 inch screen and the brightness is still goodi recommend this product for a budget home theateryou need speaker if you want to whatch a movie the projectors speaker are really not good

Google chromecast worked right away and a nice feature of the projector is that is has two hdmi and two usb connectors so the chromecast can be powered by the projector without a separate ac adapter

The projector has builtin speakers that are fairly loud but of course for a movie experience a surround sound system is needed
